Jordan Despines, known professionally as DJ Jman, is a 2021 graduate of Mechanicsburg Senior Area High School and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Duquesne University, with plans to graduate in 2027. Jordan began his DJ career at 19, initially creating small mixes as a hobby. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a true passion for crafting unforgettable musical experiences. That passion soon led to opportunities performing at private events and taking the stage at the Red Bull Turn It Up event in Pittsburgh. Today, DJ Jman brings a polished, energetic, and crowd-focused approach to every event. Whether it’s weddings, birthdays, formal gatherings, or special celebrations, he is dedicated to reading the room, elevating the atmosphere, and making every event spin in the right direction.
How it begun? The Next Chapter
Jordan kick-started his DJ journey performing at small gatherings for family and friends. Those early events—backyard celebrations, birthdays, and community parties is where he first discovered the powerful impact music could have on a room. Each engagement taught him how to read a crowd, shape the atmosphere, and create moments that people carried with them long after the event ended. What began as doing favors for those closest to him quickly evolved into a genuine passion, laying the foundation for the artist he is today and the path he continues to build.
